EMPLOYMENT

NSM CONSTRUCTION | Project Engineer | April 2024 - Present

  • Project Management and Leadership: Review and understand comprehensive project plans, from every discipline including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Oversee all project phases from inception to completion. Review design selections with clients and place orders for all approved material.

  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, invoices, estimates and contracts.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and government agencies.

  • Building Systems Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of building systems and construction principles including specifications and building code per jurisdiction.

  • Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Review and send RFI’s (Request for Information), complete county permit checklists, obtain permits, and organize all project information.

CLEAR CREEK TAHOE | Design Review Administrator | July 2022 - February 2024

  • Conduct and coordinate design review meetings per design phase of the residence with Project Architect, Construction Manager, and Project Engineers.

  • Conduct and coordinate on site meetings to review Material Mock Ups, construction phase review, and construction site compliance.

  • Close communication and interaction with all internal Design Review Team, Design Review Committee, all homesites Project Architect, Construction Management and Homeowners.

  • Provide meeting minutes for design and team meetings.

  • Thoroughly review and understand the homesite specifications and contract drawings.

  • Ensure compliance with all terms and requirements of owner, contractor, and architect agreements.

  • Prepare and manage construction contract specific to homesite with dates and estimates of construction schedule.

  • Review all construction documents, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure all documents are compliant with CCT Design Guidelines.

  • Conduct regular site walks to ensure construction site is compliant and safe according to the CCT Design Guidelines and CCT Rules and Regulations.

  • Work with local utility companies to ensure all lots at CCT have utility stubs available.

  • Review and respond to all Subsequent Change Requests and direct all Project Architects and Contractors with approvals for design changes to ensure all design changes are relevant to the homesite and comply with CCT Design Guidelines.

  • Monitor all design fees and construction deposits.

  • Record all design review fees, construction deposits, and conditional construction deposits.

  • Microsoft Teams work flow to connect all excel sheets for design and team meeting notes, construction document organization, homesite design and construction status, architect and contractor contact information, construction violation excel sheet, conditional final status, general CCT design guidelines, design letter templates, and all other information relevant to design and construction of all homesite in Clear Creek Tahoe.

BRR ARCHITECTURE | Architectural Designer II | June 2021 - July 2022

  • Multiple Commercial Retail Stores | Assisting with the production of construction documents, survey trips, preparations of design 3D models, and coordination with consultants.

  • Nike | Remodels from Existing Buildings

    - 18 Unite Concept Stores | 5 Clearance Stores | Company Employee Store

    The projects consisted of coordination with Nike in order to create remodels retail stores from existing buildings nationwide. Development of site surveys, schematic design drawings through construction documents, coordination of every phase in construction.

  • Love’s Truck Stops | Survey Trips and New Construction Buildings

    - 6 Survey Projects | 2 New Construction Buildings

    The projects consisted of coordination with Love’s team in order to create new construction locations nationwide. Development of site surveys, schematic design drawings through construction documents, coordination of every phase in construction.

UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, GIX | Instructional Design Specialist, Program Support Supervisor II | December 2018 - June 2021

  • Install, setup and operate specialized equipment including : CNC industrial router, routers, laser cutters, wood shop machines, 3D printers, and other equipment.

  • Manage Makerspace technical staff and student employees : hire, train, manage work schedules, assign work and priorities, evaluate performance, and monitor time and materials required for projects.

  • Training consortium members, faculty, staff, and students on how to use machines and safety procedures in the Makerspace.

  • Establish professional relationships with vendors, consortium members, and clients that use equipment and need design services.

  • Prepare equipment, materials, content, and supplies for program activities, prepare demonstrations, and participate in activities requested.

COATES DESIGN ARCHITECTS | Designer | January 2018 to October 2018

  • Olympic Medical Cancer Center | The project consisted of construction of an addition to the Primary Care and remodel of existing buildings. The Olympic Medical Cancer Center is in Sequim, WA. The team worked together with other outside consultants in order to complete the project.

  • Multiple Custom Residences | Assisted with the production of construction documents, preparations of material boards, and finish schedules.

  • 3D modeling of residential and commercial projects including renderings and preparation of Virtual Reality presentations.

  • Content creation for social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn for new promotional strategies to showcase architectural work.

PATAGONIA | Shipper | October 2018 - April 2019

  • The responsibilities included to be well informed about Patagonia products in order to deliver excellent customer service, as well as being informed on the environmental issues taking place throughout world.

  • To be interactive within the community to understand how we can promote Patagonia in a healthy manner is also part of the job requirement.

  • Timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise such as: Patagonia shipments, Outside vendor shipments, Transfers Mail Orders / Customer Returns, Repairs, DM, Special Orders, and RTV’s.

  • Maintain all processes and records involved with shipping/receiving for the store, PRS, Accounting, and the Service Center.

  • Consistently maintain a clean, organized and efficient stockroom. Work with store management to determine most efficient stockroom layout. Clearly label all boxes, stock all items by size, and maintain stockroom efficiency.

  • Communicate inventory concerns to management on a regular basis.

  • Work with store management to train staff on shipping/receiving and stockroom procedures to provide adequate coverage for these responsibilities when needed.

  • Be proactive in Loss Prevention by keeping the stockroom well organized and maintaining proper procedures. Work with store management to address Loss Prevention concerns.

  • Communicate and resolve shipping discrepancies with outside vendors, PRS, Accounting, and the Service Center.

  • Provide suggestions for improvements on current stockroom systems and procedures to store.

  • IDEA 1 | This internship included working on IDEA1 Project, located in East Village, San Diego, CA. The IDEA1 team worked together through all phases of construction documents and correlated with the developers and contractors on a final design.
