ABOUT

After the west coast was hit by three tragic fires that ruined ecosystems people’s lives, and all of these fires were started by man, the concept was to embrace change for the future. It was an important time to start storing and caring for our natural ecosystems and our forests imagine the presence of an old-growth tree that is the home to the life and magic of Black Rock City. The Tree of Life is 110 foot monument to nature it is a center for creativity, knowledge sharing, and healing that has a life after Buringman.

 

The goal is this project is to be the home of art and performance that inspires social and environmental change in the heart of the tree among the roots is a performance and gathering space where people come together as you climb the central atrium you will be bathed in the sounds of seven chakras the central atrium is 90 feet tall and features a 360-degree sound system once you reach the top you enter the temple of the stars hanging out in a tree house like structure you will be able to see views of Black Rock City and desert.
